9ct white gold engagement ring with a natural cognac diamond and alexandrite
Sim and Paul wanted something unusual, contemporary and striking for their engagement ring design. They had bought a beautiful Sri Lankan cushion cut 5.3x4.6mm alexandrite that they wanted to incorporate as Sim is half Sri Lankan and green is his favourite colour so it was the perfect choice. The alexandrite has been paired with a stunning 3.7x3mm baguette cut chocolate cognac diamond which complements the green of the Alexandrite beautifully. The stones have been simply set in smooth all around rub over settings within a flat profiled 4.5mm wide tapered band which gets wider on one side to emphasize the asymmetry of the design.
