Do you have a favourite place, passion or hobby?  Perhaps you’ve got shared loves and interests? Do you want to honour yours and your family’s culture and heritage? Or is it time to commemorate loved ones or pets?

There may even be a particular colour or a specific gemstone you love. Sometimes they are birthstones or reflect a person’s style and personality.

Ultimately, any inspiration is a way of telling your unique story!

You may have a vague or clear vision of how your bespoke jewellery might look. But don’t worry if you’re not sure where to begin.

Our designers are experts and sharing your thoughts with them online or in person is all they need to turn any concept into reality.

We understand how time, location and “surprise” restrictions can impact visits. So you join us both in your preferred studio and shop or virtually too.

Before your consultation, browse our galleries for inspiration and create your own mood board, ready to share with your designer.

Then in your consultation we’ll talk through your thoughts and preferred budget. As well as that, share your different gemstone possibilities- including browsing our collection, sourcing some especially for you and repurposing your own. We’ll also explore metal choice- consider white, yellow, rose and Fairtrade Gold. Finally, discover how to capture your experience with our Souvenir Photos.

Then your designer will transform your ideas into some initial sketches. You will see your vision start coming to life, right there and then.

You will have time to look at your design options and discuss any changes with your designer until you are happy with it. When your design is finalised,  you’ll pay a 50% deposit.

Throughout the process, you’ll be updated as each fascinating making stage happens. This will include hand forging, through to casting, stone setting, hallmarking, engraving and polishing.

If you’re intrigued and want to learn more, you can watch our goldsmiths working away. You can arrange to visit our open workshop live in our North Hertfordshire Jewellery Centre. Alternatively, when you visit Primrose Hill and St Albans studios and shops, you can watch a live 2-way feed.

If you want to include your loved one in the design process, start with a presentation box instead. This has a pre-booked appointment and can also include a presentation sketch or a gemstone…or both!

Then you can share the experience together, ready for the finished design, to head to the workshop.

Your jewellery is meticulously checked by your designer, expert goldsmiths and gemmologists.

If you’d like to commemorate your unique experience you can purchase workshop images, a CAD presentation render or a photobook. A photobook is the perfect souvenir to showcase your bespoke journey, the team and the making, as well as your own story. Include personal photos such as proposal or wedding pictures, or family snaps.

When your jewellery is ready, we’ll be in touch to arrange a collection or a fully insured delivery.

Prepared in our sustainable packaging, it will be accompanied with: a handwritten card specifying the details of your bespoke piece;  a care pack on how to look after your jewellery and a polishing cloth; details of the designer and goldsmith involved in the making and a complimentary Jewellery Service Voucher.

Then it’s ready to start the next part of its chapter with you, of which we’d love to see!
