Eilidh and Stephen loved the idea of Alexandrite in their engagement ring
Eilidh loved Alexandrite, so there could be only one choice for Eilidh and Stephen's engagement ring stone. They both liked the idea of an antique feel to the ring, so the 4mm brilliant cut (0.26ct) Alexandrite has been set in a slightly raised 9ct rose gold rub over setting which sits in the middle of a circular plate, and grain set directly into the plate surrounding the main stone are sixteen 1mm H SI brilliant cut diamonds (totalling 0.7cts). Other than the central setting holding the Alexandrite is non-rhodium plated 9ct white gold which has been polished, and to accompany the wedding ring a delicate 2.5mm wide 9ct rose gold band was created which sits neatly under the plate setting.
