Awaken a world of design inspirations with gemstone choices in all colours, shapes and sizes.

Using your family’s birthstones in your jewellery is a great way to connect your life with your design. There are a variety of choices for each month and we will work with you to choose the most beautiful and durable combination.

During your bespoke consultation we’ll discuss various gemstone cut options. Most commonly used are the round brilliant cut and the square princess cut, but there is a good deal of other options to consider. Not all gemstones are cut in certain ways – for example, more brittle stones don’t tend to be cut into square shapes. Ultimately, sharp corners can easily fracture and therefore damage the gemstone.

Yes you can! We love setting customers’ gemstones and diamonds that have been passed down through generations. This creates an even more sentimental, personal connection with the jewellery.

Gemstones and traceability

We understand how important it is for your jewellery to be made ethically and responsibly. This includes tracing a gemstone’s origin, an assurance of environmental and human rights impacts. Whilst we cannot guarantee this for every single gemstone, we’re absolutely doing our best to stick to our ethical mission. Such as, working with responsible suppliers mining under Fairtrade principles. As well as that, in some circumstances, providing the country it was sourced from.

Laboratory grown diamonds

We offer both natural and laboratory grown diamonds, of which our designers can discuss your options. Each carries their own differences and, of course, appeal too. The biggest factor may be cost, where laboratory grown diamonds are more reasonably priced. However, choosing a natural diamond that our Earth has grown for millions of years is rather exceptional too. Deciding between the two, though, is entirely your choice which we support either way.

Unusual and rare gemstones

Alongside the classics- diamond, ruby, sapphire and emerald- there’s a world of unusual gemstones. Discover a range of cuts, shapes, sizes and of course colours, that can transform or inspire your unique design. Equally, if you have your own stone- loose, inherited or set in another piece of jewellery- consider having it custom cut. This means you can make it a shape that best matches your style or design inspiration.
