A surprise Celtic inspired alexandrite engagement ring
Harold wanted to create the perfect Celtic inspired engagement ring for a surprise birthday proposal in the late spring.The ring was to incorporate alexandrite and aquamarine, with the stones set flush within a band so that it could be worn everyday as Lynn was conscious that the ring should be practical. Harold decided on a platinum band, upon which the Celtic influence would be portrayed through engraving. With the alexandrite taking centre stage, a brilliant cut aquamarine was set flush on either side. The Celtic twist engraving flows around these gemstones to the front of the ring, drawing the eye to the beautiful tones of the stones.Harold was able to propose to Lynn on her birthday, she had no idea that he had been designing her perfect ring- of course she accepted his proposal without hesitation!
