Contemporary in design, this elegant engagement ring has been set with a 0.42ct pear shaped rose cut E-F, VS1-2 diamond. The 6.26 x 4.68mm diamond is held in a three claw setting and is surrounded by delicate beading detail for a fresh take on a classic vintage style cluster style. The rose cut dates back to the 1500s and is synonymous with antique style jewellery designs. The choice of a rose cut diamond within this engagement ring creates a compelling contrast between the modern aesthetic of the design. The ring has been made from Fairtrade 9 carat rose gold which has been given a polished finish and rhodium plating has been applied to the metal underneath the diamond to enhance its brilliant white sparkle.
