Abdulrahman wanted to design a unique ring for his mum
Abdulrahman wanted to have a special ring made for his mum. He had a strong idea in mind of what he wanted and when he saw this 8x6mm (0.72) kite cut amethyst on display in the Cambridge studio he knew it was the perfect stone for the ring. We made the ring in 9ct white gold, it measures approximately 4mm wide at the back and sides which then increases at the front where the shank of the ring meets the overlaid heart shaped plate. Running through the centre of the heart shaped section there is another detailed plate that holds the setting and amethyst. On each side of the heart, on the shoulders, there is engraved scroll detailing. The ring has been given a matte satin finish.
