Maria's palladium ring using inheritied marquise and brilliant cut diamonds
Maria inherited a beautiful 22 stone ring from her mother and planned to separate it into three pieces of jewellery; one for Maria, one for her daughter and one for her granddaughter. The ring was a mixture of marquise and brilliant cut diamonds and the largest of which have been used in Maria’s dress ring. The central amethyst is Maria’s own from another ring her mother had and has been all around set as Maria wanted a more protective and less catchy setting for the stones. She loved the idea of having something quite classic with a modern twist so the marquise diamonds and the brilliant cut diamonds have been scattered across the front of the ring in a less regimented fashion than a traditional ring. The stones are set to a split shoulder palladium band with six smaller round brilliant cut diamonds thread and grain set to the band, giving it that extra sparkle.
