It can be the main feature, showing two individuals joining in a union, or smaller detailing to add to an inspiration like a leaf or twist. Or, my favourite, is a way of including heirloom jewellery that may not ordinarily be ‘your colour’.”

Discover BespokeThe most common way to mix metals is to use one or all of the three colours of gold in the same design. For instance, a yellow gold band and a white gold or platinum setting really enhances the bright white of a diamond.
However, it is not always possible or practical to combine certain metals due to differing melting points.
