Tom wanted a delicate ring inspired by the Chrysler Building
Tom's partner Kei spent a lot of time in New York so Tom wanted to draw upon the architecture of an iconic Art Deco style skyscraper. At the centre of the Chrysler building inspired design is a 2.5mm (0.10 carat) brilliant cut sapphire within a 9 carat yellow gold setting. The shaping around the sapphire and the use of overlaid details with engraved lines is reminiscent of the roof of the building. The 2mm wide band ensures the engagement ring can be worn next to a straight band in the future.
