Rita's engagement ring using her own blue sapphire and diamonds
Rita wanted to incorporate her Grandmother's jewellery to re-design her own engagement ring. Both Rita and Brian asked me to design an Art Deco inspired 9ct white gold engagement ring using her own round cut 6.4mm 1.20ct blue sapphire set in corner claws to give the round sapphire a sense that it is square. Along the tapering 3mm wide shoulders, pave set Rita's own old cut approximately 2mm - 1.2mm diamonds. The profile is a reverse-D and the ring has a polished finish.
