Elle loved this unusual half moon cut blue sapphire
Elle had a fairly good idea of what she wanted her engagement ring to look like but hadn't imagined using such an usual cut sapphire, during her consultation she saw this 4.8 x 7mm (1.05ct) half moon cut ceylon sapphire in the cabinet and straight away she knew it was the stone for her! We have set the sapphire in an all around style setting which adds to the modern look of the ring. Ella had her heart set on having the ring made in rose gold, and her and Emmanuel both preferred the colour of 18ct rose gold and also wanted to use Fairtrade Fairmined gold. The ring measures around 4mm at its widest point and tapers to around 3mm wide, on the left hand side of the ring the shoulder has a split detail which meets the top and bottom of the setting, the ring has then been finished with a polished finish.
