David wanted a trilogy style engagement ring with purple stones
David commissioned this beautiful engagement ring for Gerry. He liked the trilogy style but wanted something a little different and to add some subtle movement, taking inspiration from some of the rings in the Cambridge studio we came up with this twist style trilogy shaping. He wanted a diamond in the centre but also wanted to add a splash of colour and as purple is Gerry's favorite colour he picked these pretty purple sapphires. The central 3mm (0.11ct) brilliant cut H Si diamond has been set in a 6 claw style setting which gives a classic look to the ring and accentuates the round shape of the diamond, either side of the diamond there is a 2.5mm brilliant cut purple sapphire which have each been set in a 4 claw setting. The ring has been made in palladium, the band measures around 3mm wide and has a gentle curved profile and a polished finish.
