Bespoke palladium engagement ring with customers own 1.19ct tanzanite
Paul and Anika met in Africa, so when a work trip took Paul back there he thought it would be perfect to buy an African stone to propose to Anika with and use as the central feature of her engagement ring. The stone Paul chose was a 6.3x5.42mm cushion cut Tanzanite. Anika wanted to keep the design feminine and simple, letting the stone speak for itself, so it was decided that a 2mm wide D shape shank would taper in at the front accentuating the stone, while the overall feel of the ring remained delicate. The Tanzanite has been set in an end only setting allowing the sides of the stone to still be visible and allow light to pass through the stone while giving protection to the overhanging ends.
