Alice's Fairtrade 9 carat white gold ring with tanzanite and diamonds
Alice had always wanted to create a special piece of jewellery with the beautiful tanzanite that her and her husband bought during the honeymoon of a lifetime in Tanzania.The beautiful stone has been brought to life in an all around Fairtrade 9 carat white gold setting. Inherited diamonds from Alice's grandmother's rings are also set into the sphere detailing on the shoulders, adding to the sentiment of the piece and recycling the inherited jewellery into something Alice can wear and treasure every day. The ring is mostly made from Fairtrade 9 carat white gold which has always been important to Alice as someone who cares deeply about ethical practices in creating jewellery. Her engagement and wedding rings are made from Fairtrade rose gold and Alice wanted this to be mirrored in the dress ring in some way so we used some rose gold which was left over from the creation of her husband's wedding ring to add delicate rose gold spheres. A striking mixed metal design that holds many special memories for Alice.
