Bespoke pair of yellow gold and platinum rings with rubies and black diamonds

Michael and Lillian were married in Peru in a traditional ceremony. As part of this they were given bracelets made of red and black seeds which were not very durable so they wanted something more permanent to represent what they were given. We designed them a matching pair of 18ct yellow gold and platinum rings - 5mm wide with half yellow and half white to represent the sun (male) and the moon (female). Each has a flat profile with softened edges and a polished finish. The two different metals are separated by a saw cut line to make the difference more distinct. Michael's ring has a single 1.5mm ruby and a 1.5mm heat treated black diamond invisibly set into the front of the ring. Lillian's has 5 stones in total; a 2mm ruby in the centre, then a 1.5mm heat treated black diamond and a 1.2mm ruby either side. All the stones are brilliant cut and invisibly set along the saw cut line.
