Chrissie's 9ct rose gold Northumberland inspired ring
John and Chrissie came to the Cambridge studio to create a unique ring inspired by their home of Northumberland. They brought a picture of their favourite place, Dunstanburgh castle and together we combined the sweeping elements of the landscape and incorporated the ruins of the castle within the engraved detail. The 9ct rose gold was the perfect tone for Chrissie and her favourite colour, green, is incorporated in the invisibly set princess cut 1.5mm green tourmaline. This handmade ring hides an engraved message in the Northumbrian dialect, which John researched and surprised Chrissie with. The satinised finish shows of the engraved landscape perfectly.
