This delicate blue brilliant cut 0.97ct sapphire is a fine centre piece for this platinum engagement ring. The design is simple with an antique touch. The setting has an all around setting lip yet has open work similar to a claw style setting. The all around setting protects the stone to its fullest while the detail in the setting lets in extra light to the stone. The slim band narrows towards the stone and splits in the shoulders with grain detail on the surface to lead the eye to the central stone.
