White gold purple sapphire and diamond ring inspired by the night sky
This 18ct white gold engagement ring holds an absolutely stunning rare 1.17cts 7 x 5.5mm colour change sapphire. This sapphire is deep purple in electric light and takes on a much bluer tone in natural light and is a 40-60% colour change precious gemstone. This has been set in an elegant scoop shaped 4 claw setting so that the tip of the sapphire is visible from the side. The band has been rounded over such that the 18 scatter set shoulder diamonds and sapphires can be seen from all angles. The shoulders hold 4 1.6mm lilac sapphires totalling 0.09cts and many brilliant cut round H SI diamonds (2 x 2mm, 3 x 1.5mm, 3 x 1mm and 6 x 1.2mm).
