Wave inspired white gold and aqua sapphire engagement ring
This delicate and flowing 18ct white gold engagement ring holds a 0.63ct oval facetted pale aqua sapphire. The natural sapphire looks pale blue from some angles, clear from some angles and pale green from some angles giving lots of interesting variation with an aqua overall colour theme. The graduating sized H SI brilliant cut diamonds are invisibly set into the curving band. The design on one level is a simple variation on a classic wishbone shape but being inspired by a wave, it is also is a little different to the norm. The interesting shape also has the effect of elongating the finger and giving the hand an elegant look. A wishbone shaped wedding band could be made to dip below the engagement ring leaving an interesting space between the rings which will emphasise the elegant shape of the engagement ring.
