Katie's Platinum Sapphire and Diamond Nature Inspired Engagement Ring
Kate's platinum engagement ring takes inspiration from nature as well as some of her other loves. Birdwatching, long walks and hikes on nature trails are a shared hobby for Katie and partner Alexei, and her favourite gemstone is bluey green sapphires, so it was only fitting that her engagement ring represented this. In the centre a cushion cut green sapphire is end only set with ginkgo leaves and berry details to the left, created in the form of sweeps and beads of metal, and all around set diamonds. To the right, the illusion of a bird wing is created with a combination of marquise and pear grain set brilliant cut diamonds. For the final organic feel, vine inspired open shoulders weave either side, bringing it all together.
