Christine's White Gold Twist Engagement Ring with Sapphire and Diamond
Richard had booked a surprise consultation in our Cambridge studio for Christine to come in and design her engagement ring with us. During the appointment, they both fell in love with a square cut blue sapphire which they wanted to use within the design, as well as incorporating some wave details. The beautiful engagement ring is handmade using 9ct white gold, and has soft tapered arms to mimic the shape of a wave and blend in with the claw settings of two 2.3mm round brilliant cut diamonds (totalling 0.1ct). The 4.9mm square cut 0.81ct mid blue sapphire sits at the centre of the design in a corner setting to really enhance the geometric juxtaposition of the square stone against the sweeping arms. Complete with a polished finish.
