Trish's Mixed Metal Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Ring
Patricia brought in her beautiful, inherited ring for repair; however due to the age of the ring and the years of loving repair, the best option was the rebuild it from scratch. Our senior goldsmith handmade a brand new ring, melting down the original metal and combining it with new 18ct yellow gold to reconstruct the band. The original 2mm sapphires were reset in a channel setting, with the 1.8mm diamonds either side in a thread and grain setting, accented with a millegrain edge. Patricia can now get another lifetime of love and wear out of this stunning, sentimental piece.
