Maria's Redesigned Mixed Metal Diamond And Sapphire Engagement Ring
Maria had a claw set engagement ring which had taken a little wear over the years and needed updating. We discussed different approaches that we could take to keep the design reminiscent of the original ring, while modernising it with a lower, more practical profile. A platinum plate in a diamond shape holds the original diamonds and central sapphire, while the 18ct yellow gold of Maria's original engagement ring forms the band. We also crafted a new wedding ring in 18ct gold to match it perfectly. The plate style design means that the two rings can be worn flush together without the gaps caused by her old engagement ring design.
