Carla's Bespoke Platinum Diamond and Topaz Ring

Chris had a unique eternity ring design in mind for Carla which we knew we could bring to life. He was hoping to create a platinum eternity ring in a traditional style but with special meaning.

The couple met studying maths in 2007 and Chris had the idea of arranging the stones to represent that year in binary '11111010111'. This translates to being 11 stones with two non-diamonds to represent the O's. He wanted to represent their links to Derbyshire, so originally considered using blue john as the contrasting stone but later chose the bright sparkle of the topaz for a harder wearing material alongside the diamonds. We also had the ring hallmarked in Sheffield so the inside of the ring bears the mark of the rose - perfectly capturing their ties to the city where they met.
