Louise's Platinum and Sentimental Rose Cut Green Sapphire Engagement Ring
Before ever meeting Louise, Martin visited Australia as a keen star gazer and took some local advice to visit Sapphire for the star gazing prospects! Whilst there, he went sapphire mining on a whim and was lucky enough to find two sapphires in amongst other gemstones. Once Louise entered his life, Martin knew it was time to utilise his find in Australia and arrived at our studio with the piece of rough green sapphire which we had custom cut. Martin's romantic gamble completely paid off and transpired into a beautiful round rose cut 0.74ct stone with a gentle green colour. We set this into a fully handmade platinum twist ring and added graduating diamonds along the shoulders for extra sparkle!
