Kate's mixed metal diamond and sapphire engagement ring redesign

Kate was so excited when her husband first proposed that she chose the first ring that fit her, over time she realised the ring wasn't quite to her taste and decided that the time had come to re-create it. She wanted to keep the sentiment of her original ring by reusing the stones and metal while incorporating something new and modern. Amazed by our India inspired collection ring Kate knew that this kind of style and an asymmetric design would work beautifully. This mixed metal engagement ring holds three of Kate's original stones, one oval 0.5ct sapphire and two round brilliant cut diamonds, which total 0.24cts. The stones are set on 18 carat yellow gold with the one diamond and the sapphire in all around settings and the remaining diamond grain set into the pear shaped metalwork. The band is crafted from 18 carat white gold which tapers towards the stones, and it's edges are lined with a delicate mill grain detail. This gorgeous redesign is complete with a polished finish to help bring life and new meaning into Kate's ring.
