Jane's palladium wave inspired engagement ring with Whitby jet
When David enquired he explained that his partner Jane is a keen open-water swimmer and loves to swim in the sea daily, David often accompanying her. It was incredibly important to capture within Jane's engagement ring the essence of both; their love for the sea, along with her love of local gemstones, in particular Whitby Jet. At the heart of the design the 0.20ct Whitby Jet has been curl set in palladium which seamlessly leads to a curl set London Blue Topaz, this beautiful shaping is inspired by the shape of a wave. Grain set into each shoulder are three London Blue Topaz which are elegantly framed with wave inspired engraving. This meaningful design is completed with a polished finish which beautifully echos sunlight catching the ocean waves.
