Frances' sapphire and diamond engagement ring
Thomas was excited about designing a bespoke engagement ring for his partner Frances and with the help of his parents he commissioned this beautiful engagement ring which incorporates special gemstones that Frances had inherited. To allow the ring to sit comfortably on Frances’ finger, the central cushion cut sapphire is set vertically with smaller round diamonds closely set either side in classic yet modern six and four claw settings. The shoulders of the band feature small splits with curl detailing which continues across the sides. When discussing metals, Thomas wanted a hard wearing option that would complement the deep blue tones of the sapphire so decided on the natural tones of 18 carat white gold.
