Kate's Mixed Metal, diamond and sapphire Trilogy Ring
George was planning to propose to Kate during a holiday of a lifetime to Sri Lanka and wanted to commission a beautiful bespoke engagement ring. Given the location of the impending proposal, a Sri Lankan sapphire was the perfect gemstone to include within the unique design. The trilogy style engagement ring is centered around a 0.26ct round brilliant cut H SI1 diamond which is flanked by pear cut blue sapphires. George also liked the idea of making the ring a little different by combining the 9 carat rose gold band with higher carat white gold claw settings. A satin brushed finish enhances the contemporary feel of the design.
