Gerri's cushion cut tanzanite 'fleur-de-lis' engagement ring
Ian met Gerri in New Orleans, where she is from, and devised a plan to propose to her before they both moved to the UK to start their new life together. He wanted the ring to be unique and to really symbolise how important New Orleans has been to them both. He knew that Gerri would like a blue stone and that she had a particular love of tanzanite and so he chose a cushion shaped tanzanite for the central stone with two 3mm diamonds either side to complement it. A beautiful handmade fleur-de-lis motif has been crafted either side of the tanzanite setting as a symbol of the city of New Orleans.
