White gold 0.68ct sunset sapphire and diamond engagement ring
This subtle 9ct white gold engagement ring holds a 0.68ct unusual sunset colour sapphire. The central sapphire is set into a band which tapers from 5mm around the sapphire to 2.5mm at the back making a very comfortable band with the slightly curved edges. The sapphire is complimented by 6 1.5 mm brilliant cut HSI diamonds channel set into the shoulders giving the ring a little sparkle. The sapphire is invisibly set into the band which depthens slightly towards the front wth a U-shape cut out to show the side of the stone. The sapphire itself is beautiful - peach at some angles and a soft muted gold at others - it changes with the light just like the sunset by which is was inspired.
