Claire's emerald cut sapphire and palladium engagement ring
Fred and Claire decided to design their engagement ring as a joint effort! Fred is a creative person himself and had lots of ideas whilst Claire knew she wanted a deep blue sapphire as the main stone as she just loves their depth of colour. Fred’s vision was a splitting band which meets the edges of the stone and Claire’s choice of an emerald cut sapphire suited this idea perfectly. The stone was in our gemstone collection and both Claire and Fred fell in love with it whilst they were here for their design consolation. It is approximately 6x4mm (0.71 cts) and we set a diamond on each shoulder to compliment the sapphire beautifully.
