Stephanie’s Fairtrade 9 carat white gold and amber engagement ring
Robert wanted to design a surprise engagement ring for Stephanie which included her favourite stone. At the centre of the simple yet striking design is a 7x5mm oval cabochon cut 0.37ct amber. The stone is held in an all around setting to keep it safe and secure. Robert chose to use Fairtrade 9 carat white gold which reflected Stephanie's interest in ethics and the environment. The warmth of the white gold complements the fiery amber and the metal has been given a hammered finish to add a new dimension to the design.
