Kath's 1.45ct sapphire and platinum engagement ring
Peter wanted to buy Kath a striking ring for their anniversary so he brought her in to our Hertfordshire studio to see what caught her eye. She spotted a ring that she loved with an Art Deco feel and wanted something similar but with a beautiful blue sapphire in the centre. We sourced a selection of different emerald cut stones for her and she chose this 1.45ct emerald cut blue sapphire. An emerald cut stone will give an Art Deco feel to almost any design but adding a tapering baguette cut diamond either side exaggerates this as it gives the design a fan-like feel. The open design means that although the ring is wide it doesn't look too heavy.
