Palladium, 0.1ct sapphire and 0.03ct diamond engagement ring
Ed sketched an engagement ring design for his girlfriend which included diamonds and a vibrant blue sapphire and sought our help to refine his ideas. With the skills of our designers and goldsmiths, his ideas were realized in this beautiful palladium ring. A 2.8mm brilliant cut sapphire (0.1ct) and three brilliant cut H/G VS diamonds (0.03ct) appear to float between the sweeping arms to create an asymmetric, modern yet timeless design. The strength and security of the tension style setting has been enhanced by introducing tiny metal bars underneath the stone which cannot be seen but serve to hold the two arms together. A polished finish completes this extra personal design.
