Gethin proposed to Ciara with a vivid citrine
Gethin knew that Ciara would like an engagement ring that incorporated her favourite shade of orange, which happened to be an amber hue. We initially spoke about creating the ring using amber itself, but after discussing the properties of the stone we decided it was too soft for Ciara's lifestyle. Orange citrine was suggested instead and Gethin chose a stone from the selection we sourced for him. He felt the faceted stone would add to the antique feel he wanted the ring to convey. The design involved a princess cut citrine set centrally in a halo of diamonds and mill grain detail. The ring was handmade in 9 carat white gold and has been designed to allow a straight wedding ring to sit next to it perfectly.
