Rachel's vintage inspired engagement and wedding ring set
Rachel and Paddy wanted to design a vintage inspired engagement ring and a matching wedding ring and it was very important to them that some of the family’s gemstone and gold were incorporated into the design. Rachel and Paddy, along with their own family gemstones, chose a 4.6mm brilliant cut diamond and four 5x2.5mm marquise cut green sapphires. Four 2mm brilliant cut white gemstones, which came from a sentimental ring from Rachel’s family, were claw set, along with the other gemstones, in palladium. The delicate 2.5mm wide tapering band on Rachel’s engagement ring was made from family rings that had great sentimental value, we also added a bit of extra metal to make sure Rachel’s ring will stand the test of time! For her wedding ring we designed a 2mm wide 9ct yellow gold ring that gently curved around her engagement ring keeping the design very simple that wouldn’t distract from the stunning engagement ring.
