Rachel's stunning Art Deco inspired diamond and 18ct white gold brooch
Jonathan and Rachel came to the Cambridge studio to design a unique brooch for a special birthday. Rachel loves Art Deco styling and it was important that her brooch had lots of sparkle. The unique final design id a shield style shape with a variety of stones to create a show stopping design. The brooch is designed around a central 6x3mm marquise cut HSI diamond. Radiating from the central stone is, a pair of 3x1.5mm tapered baguette cut HSI diamonds, two 2.5mm, six 2mm, two 1.75mm, six 1.5mm and two 1.2mm brilliant cut HSI diamonds, totalling 0.85 carats. These dazzling stones have been set in a mixture of claw settings, channel setting and a geometric pave setting, to give interest from all angles. The 18 carat white gold brooch has been given a highly polished finish to add to the sparkle.
