Claire's handmade opal and 9 carat yellow gold pendant
Michael commissioned a pair of bespoke earrings for his wife Claire and as a result she decided to pop in herself with an opal ring she had inherited many years ago. The opal in the ring was a little worn and after we took a look at it we realised that it was a beautiful and valuable stone which just needed a re-polish to bring it back to life. We suggested that a simple yellow gold pendant would be a much more practical way for Claire to enjoy wearing the opal everyday. The resulting design is simple and effective and shows off the stunning natural qualities of the black opal.
