As the world moves for a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way of living (focused on recycling, reusing or repurposing) we’re proud to be a part of the motion. Exciting things have been progressing behind the scenes and we couldn’t be happier to finally share the end result…
Let us introduce our brand new, sustainable packaging.
After 2 years of research and reviewing prototypes, our new, soft green packaging is here. And it’s a beautiful feat, representing our next big step in making positive environmental changes.
Our business ethos is very much grounded in making the best ethical choices we can, and reducing our impact on the planet. We already have so much in play to achieve this! This goes from our ethical options for our jewellery – gemstones and precious metals – to small but mighty choices within the studios and shops themselves. We use eco-friendly products, recycle our team consumer waste appropriately, and ensure our workshop has air filters, and water filters. All of this reduces, and where possible, prevents pollution. Our biggest pledge though, was to review our packaging.
All About Our Packaging
You may already know our swivel top bamboo boxes are reusable. Over the years we’ve seen some eclectic re-uses: lots of plant and sugar pots! They’ve been rejuvenated and are now a smaller size, perfect for concealing for a surprise proposal. The inserts have gone from being made of foam to mostly recycled cotton which is certified. They’re the perfect complement in both colour and sustainability.
Our new green commission boxes are also made from bamboo and have the mark of responsible forestry (FSC) where the source of our bamboo is certified. Within these, the pouch inserts have also moved from foam to a bamboo fabric. Having a bespoke piece is so special and these pouches are a delicate way of keeping the jewellery safe for a lifetime.
Finally, our bags are fully reusable and recyclable, without an ounce of plastic present.
We adore the lighter, subtle colour combinations and are proud that our packaging has a story just as important as your bespoke piece that will sit inside it.
