As well as birthstones, consider engraving dates, names, or messages. Could you incorporate inherited jewellery? Or have a more abstract design, like mixed metals to represent each of you?”

Birthstone eternity rings are often given to celebrate the arrival of a child, using the baby’s birth month’s stone alongside your own in a circle of eternity.
