Tamsin's 9ct white gold complimenting engagement and wedding ring set
Tamsin asked me to design her a complimenting 9ct white gold engagement and wedding ring set. Using her own 6x2.8mm 0.18ct G Si2 marquise cut diamond in an end-only setting we designed the symmetrical shoulders twist above and below the diamond in an embracing fashion. The points of the marquise diamond is set into the band to give an overall width of approximately 9.5mm. To represent Sebastian's and Tamsin's birthstones we had invisibly set into one of the shoulders a brilliant cut 1mm aquamarine and peridot. This adds to the asymmetric style Tamsin wanted to incorporate. The wedding ring has a complimenting d-shape profile and 2mm width to the engagement ring. Tamsin wanted to create a contrast between the two rings and chose the wedding ring to have a satin finish applied.
