A bespoke palladium ring designed for a special birthday
Kevin and Modesty came into the studio as they wanted to design a palladium dress ring to celebrate Modesty's upcoming special birthday. Modesty wanted to have something special which uses a variety of stones based on the stones she really liked, including two of her own diamonds. The design was influenced by the ribbon ring seen on display in our ready to wear collection, we were to design a ring which used the combination of five stones. The first stone chosen was a pear shape deep purple 5x3mm 0.22cts pear shape amethyst, the second was a marquise cut 5mm x 2.5mm 0.18cts, pink sapphire and a brilliant cut 2.5mm 0.09cts deep red ruby. Alongside this Modesty has a couple of diamonds to include in the design which were a brilliant cut 4.5mm 0.30cts diamond and a princess cut 3.5mm 0.28ct diamond. The ribbon style ring has been styled to wrap around each of the stones shown in their end only settings to encourage light to enhance the beautiful colours shown in the design, the curved profiles lend themselves perfectly to the natural and organic flowing nature of the design.
