Unique heat treated trilliant cut blue diamond engagement ring
David wanted to surprise Jen with a blue diamond engagement ring. We sourced a number of beautiful diamonds for David to view, and he chose this stunning 0.23 carat trilliant cut heat treated blue diamond. These heat treated diamonds are heated at very high temperatures and pressures to achieve this permanent colour change. Naturally occurring diamonds of this colour are very rare and costs many thousands of pounds and so this treatment process brings these coloured diamonds within reach. To add a bit of extra sparkle three brilliant cut, size graduating HSi diamonds have been channel set in each shoulder. The 18 carat white gold has been Rhodium plated, as the crisp colour of the rhodium really compliments the colour of the central diamond.
