David wanted detailed engraving on Nicola's engagement ring
David came into the Cambridge studio and designed this pretty engagement ring for Nicola. He wanted to incorporate some detailed engraving that was inspired by the stone carving on the Ruthwell Cross and organic vine like shapes. He chose to have the ring made in 9ct rose gold as he knew how much Nicola loved the warm pinkish tone of the gold. To keep with the organic theme we have set a 2mm brilliant cut green sapphire in the centre of the ring. For practical reasons we have invisibly set the sapphire flush. The ring has then be given a highly polished finish.
