Guy wanted Sarah's engagement ring to be inspired by her Grandma's ring
Guy and Sarah came into the Cambridge studio to design this pretty engagement ring. Sarah had an old family ring which we wanted to use for inspiration. She loved the open curved twist shaping. In the centre of the ring we have set a 3.5mm brilliant cut Swiss blue topaz, either side is a 2.5mm brilliant cut H Si diamond. All of the gemstones have been set in all around settings which have a vintage style beaded detail. The ring has been made in 9ct white gold without rhodium plating, and measures around 2mm wide and tapers as it wraps around the settings, the ring also has a D shape profile and has a polished finish.
