John wanted a traditional diamond solitaire engagement ring
John came into the Cambridge studio to design a bespoke engagement ring for Ellie. We handmade the ring in 18ct white gold (without rhodium plating), the band measures approximately 3mm wide at the back and sides and has a straight taper to the front of the ring which gives it a slightly lighter feel. The central 5.1mm (0.51ct) brilliant cut H Si diamond has been set in a 6 claw setting for a traditional look. The ring has then been given a highly polished finish.
