Nick wanted a striking blue stone in Emma's engagement ring
Nick came into the Cambridge studio to design an engagement ring for Emma. Having discovered he really liked blue stones Nick commissioned a twist style engagement ring which holds a beautiful 5x3mm (0.38ct) oval facetted dark blue sapphire. The delicate ring was handmade in 9ct white gold (without rhodium plating) and Nick chose to have the sapphire set in a polished end only setting in contrast to the satinised shank giving the ring a more modern look. The band measures 2.5mm at the sides and back, tapering towards the stone.
