Nancy's palladium and sapphire engagement ring with sparkly diamonds
Nancy and Clive visited me in our Hertfordshire studio to ask me to design a twist style palladium engagement ring. Clive had a great idea of wanting the sapphire to look like it is suspended within the band so I designed the 5.38mm 1.02ct brilliant cut blue sapphire to be in an end-only setting with the 3mm tapering band cupping around the setting. This allows you to see the vibrant array of colours when looking at the engagement ring on its sides. For an added sparkle Nancy chose to have graduating H SI diamonds pave set along the band with bead detail flowing around the sapphire.
